I loved the new characters in this fantasy book. I am so glad that I did!ĭead Beat feels like The Prisoner of Azkaban of The Dresden Files: things are getting darker the stakes are higher and there are several threads that are yet to be rounded off so it feels like it will only get worse before it gets better for Harry Dresden. If it hadn’t been for the positive reviews for Dead Beat and the later books in Jim Butcher‘s The Dresden Files series, I probably wouldn’t have read another book in the series after Blood Rites. 33.My Rating: 5/5 Spoiler Free Dead Beat Book Review Turns out the 'everyday' world isfull of strange and magical things - and most of them don't play well with humans. 9780356500331 Dead Beat 33.6000 NZD InStock /shop/books /shop/books/fiction /shop/books/fiction/science-fiction-fantasy Meet Harry Dresden, Chicago's first (and only) Wizard P.I.
